About me

I am Francesco Ferrata, an Italian full-stack developer from Siena, now based in Paris. I build web applications with React, Vue.js, Node.js and databases such as SQL, Firebase and MongoDB.

Before becoming a developer, I spent 15 years in the restaurant industry, including several years managing a team and running daily operations. That experience shaped the way I build software today: with a strong focus on real users, business needs, reliability, and practical problem-solving.

Since moving to Paris in 2022, I have worked on real-world web projects including e-commerce platforms, business tools, and tracking applications. I keep strengthening my technical foundations while using modern tools, including AI-assisted development, as part of a thoughtful and quality-focused workflow.
